Godt nyttår! (Happy New Year!)

Here is a compilation of art I did throughout that year that I consider my best works by each month!

I actually made this between 12 and 1 AM, but had to go to sleep since I beginning to be tired.

Recently, Twitter (under the control of Felon Muskrat) added a new policy that it is now prohibited to post links to other platforms, and threatens to suspend accounts for doing that. This policy change, of course, led to extreme backlash from users all across the bird app.

So, here are my thoughts about the situation:

Honestly, this whole situation makes me so fucking frustrated. I’ve been working hard for all those three years building a following on Twitter. I met cool people, made new friends while posting my art and other stuff.

And what about the people unironically worshipping Mr. Tesla Guy? They’re gonna be next on the chopping block.

Regardless of what you think about Twitter, you and I can agree that this is the most insane decision ever made by a company since the November 2021 “Removal of the Numbers of Dislikes” by YouTube.

With intense backlash like this, will this policy get overturned? Only time will tell…

UPDATE 12/23/2022: It seems that the decision was quickly overturned the day after because of the backlash it received.

Anyway,

Sorbet is the younger twin, while Sherbet is the older twin. The former is fun-loving, carefree, rebellious and extroverted. The latter is same except she is introverted.

Their birthdays are 20 January.

They are a pair of young women who are huge fans of Hank. Initially they were hired by the Sheriff to track down and kill him, but instead fell head over heels over him. These sisters tend to fight over Hank to win his affection, but he himself thinks they get on his nerves.

The GT originated from Uganda, and at first came to Nevada, USA to look after jobs until they were recruited by the Sheriff into the A.A.H.W. As soon as Sheriff found out the twins turned back against him and were crushing on Hank, he fired them, but they didn't care.

Today, it has been 4 years ever since I created this account, and it was created on 15 June, 2017 when I was 13 and in my last days of eighth grade.

A lot of the drawings I made here were done in MS Paint long before the old computer got completely broken. Sometimes Adobe Photoshop was involved and at the time I didn't really know how layers worked so I just went mad with it by any means.

I know I’m not very huge here, but this is Sarara, returning to Newgrounds. 

I haven’t used this account since 2019 and it went dormant while I was gone for other places. The truth is, I struggled to reach a wider audience for some reason, and gave up and moved to Twitter where I started a new art journey. Artfol is currently my main platform, but I post art simultaneously. 

I didn’t have the feeling of missing something until over the past several weeks this year. Also, I want to address some things regarding some of my artwork here: 

Some of my old drawings are what I now deem as problematic and questionable, not like some edgy-edgy stuff, but the type of edgy humor that used to be popular a few years back (you will know what). At the time, I was an impressionable young teenager that didn’t know anything better and thought that shit was funny because I desperately wanted to fit in with people that were into that, which caused a lot of consequences. 

I’m now much more grown, and those artworks do not represent the person I am today. I also have works for old projects I cancelled for personal reasons, and some embarrassing things. 

So, from tomorrow, this account will go through a rebranding process that can take some time. This includes deleting the questionable artworks and bury them deep in the dark...forever...
